The Deputy General Manager / General Manager – Process Excellence will lead initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, streamline processes, and ensure sustainable organizational growth. This leadership role requires a combination of strategic vision, hands-on execution, and strong cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Process Optimization: Identify inefficiencies in workflows and implement process improvement methodologies such as Lean and Six Sigma to enhance performance.
- Continuous Improvement: Develop and execute strategies to foster a culture of continuous improvement, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Team Leadership: Guide and mentor cross-functional teams, promoting collaboration, innovation, and a high-performance culture.
- Data-Driven Decision-Making: Utilize analytics and KPIs to identify areas for improvement and track progress on process improvement projects.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve operational excellence and organizational objectives.
- Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure processes align with corporate policies, international standards, and best practices.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field. A master’s degree is preferred.
- Experience: Proven track record in process improvement roles, with substantial experience in implementing Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.
- Certifications: Six Sigma Green/Black Belt certification (or equivalent) is highly desirable.
- Skills:
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in data analysis tools and project management software.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
- Preferred Qualifications: Exposure to large-scale manufacturing or apparel industries is an advantage.
