United CPS is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Analytics to lead our analytics function. This pivotal role requires a seasoned professional capable of overseeing a team of analysts while driving insights from raw data that will inform business decisions. If you possess strong logical reasoning skills, a solid background in data analysis and reporting, and the ability to communicate findings clearly to stakeholders, we want to meet you. As the Head of Analytics, your ultimate goal will be to help leverage data for enhancing business performance and achieving sustainable growth.

Responsibilities

  • Business Understanding & Strategy:
    Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand the company’s business objectives and develop strategies for data analysis that align with business needs.
  • Analytics Development & Reporting:
    Develop and implement strategies for data reporting, ensuring clarity and accuracy in reports extracted from multiple sources, including operations, IT, and customer feedback.
  • Metric Definition & Data Sourcing:
    Define and implement company-wide metrics that measure key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify relevant data sources for improved analysis.
  • Team Leadership & Development:
    Lead and manage a team of data analysts, ensuring effective performance, providing mentorship, and fostering professional development.
  • Quality Control & Discrepancy Management:
    Oversee daily analytics operations to ensure data quality, identifying and resolving discrepancies to maintain the integrity of reports.
  • Actionable Insights & Performance Optimization:
    Transform raw data into valuable business insights, helping stakeholders make informed decisions. Apply industry knowledge to interpret data and continuously improve performance.
  • Industry Awareness & Trend Monitoring:
    Stay informed about the latest industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices to continuously evolve analytics processes.

Requirements & Skills

  • Experience:
    Proven experience as an Analytics Manager, Data Scientist, or similar roles with a strong background in data analysis, reporting, and business intelligence. Industry experience is a plus.
  • Technical Skills:
    Strong proficiency in tools such as Excel, R, and SQL. Familiarity with business intelligence tools like Tableau, SAS, or other data visualization tools is preferred.
  • Educational Background:
    BSc/BA in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Management, or a related field.
  • Key Attributes:
    • Excellent communication skills to effectively share insights with both technical and non-technical teams.
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to distill complex data into actionable insights.
    • High organizational abilities with excellent attention to detail.
    • Proven ability to problem-solve and implement data-driven strategies.
