We are seeking an experienced and motivated Production Operations Manager to oversee and enhance our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in production management, with expertise in steel chain manufacturing, and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Production Oversight: Manage daily production operations, ensuring alignment with quality standards and schedules.
- Lean Manufacturing: Implement and monitor lean manufacturing practices to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of production engineers, workshop staff, and subcontractors to ensure seamless operations.
- Material Coordination: Oversee raw material availability and plan demands to avoid delays.
- Process Optimization: Continuously improve manufacturing processes to minimize rework costs.
- Collaboration: Coordinate with other departments to optimize overall production workflows.
- Meetings and Reporting: Conduct daily meetings with the production team to address progress and constraints. Provide regular updates to top management regarding production advancements and issues.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: A minimum of 12 years in production management, preferably within the steel chain manufacturing industry.
- Education: A degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong proficiency in production planning and quality control.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD 2D/3D, and related design software.
- Key Competencies:
- Excellent leadership and problem-solving skills.
- Expertise in project management and team coordination.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
