Abbas Construction, a well-established and leading construction company based in Lahore, is urgently seeking a Project Manager to join their dynamic team. This role presents an exciting opportunity to oversee and manage large-scale construction projects in a fast-paced and challenging environment. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of multiple projects, from planning through to completion, maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and client satisfaction.
Responsibilities
As the Project Manager, your key responsibilities will include:
- Project Oversight: Lead the planning, execution, and successful completion of construction projects, ensuring all deliverables align with client expectations.
- Liaison Role: Act as a liaison between the design teams, contractors, and site teams, facilitating smooth communication and project flow.
- Execution and Quality Control: Ensure project execution follows the approved designs, specifications, and schedules. Conduct regular site inspections to maintain quality standards and rectify issues proactively.
- Team Leadership: Oversee on-site teams, motivate and lead professionals to achieve set project goals. Manage contractor coordination and quality assurance processes effectively.
- Client and Stakeholder Coordination: Maintain strong communication with clients, stakeholders, vendors, and other involved parties to ensure timely, successful, and efficient project delivery.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all projects comply with relevant safety, quality, and regulatory standards in every phase of the project.
Qualifications & Requirements
To be considered for this role, candidates should meet the following qualifications:
- Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field.
- Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of proven experience in project management, especially within the construction industry, architecture, or experience managing interior design projects.
- A comprehensive understanding of construction processes, including quality control, scheduling, budgeting, and personnel management.
- Skills:
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in using project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
- Capable of handling and executing multiple projects concurrently while maintaining attention to detail.
- Travel: Willingness to travel occasionally to Islamabad and Karachi as required by project needs.
