HD Trading is a leading company specializing in smartphones, accessories, and parts. As we continue to grow and expand our operations, we are seeking an experienced Purchasing Manager to join our team. This role involves managing the procurement of high-quality products, sourcing from reliable vendors, and ensuring smooth inventory management to meet customer demands efficiently. If you have a strong background in purchasing, vendor management, and a keen understanding of the smartphone and accessories market, we would love to have you on board!
Responsibilities:
- Vendor & Supplier Management: Identify and contact reliable suppliers/vendors, maintain strong relationships, and negotiate terms to secure the best pricing.
- Purchasing & Inventory Management: Source cost-effective, high-quality inventory while monitoring stock levels to ensure product availability.
- Cost Reduction Strategies: Develop and implement strategies that effectively reduce purchasing costs while maintaining the quality of inventory.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date purchase records for tracking and reporting purposes.
- Order Fulfillment: Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and order fulfillment, meeting customer demands.
- Market Analysis & Risk Management: Continuously analyze market trends to make informed purchasing decisions and mitigate potential risks.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other departments such as sales, logistics, and warehousing to ensure smooth operations and timely product delivery.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in purchasing or procurement.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of sourcing smartphones, accessories, and parts.
- Skills:
- Excellent negotiation and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration.
- Time management skills, ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong focus on punctuality, discipline, and attention to detail.
- Educational Background: A degree or diploma in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
