Octatude is looking for an experienced Senior Upwork Bidder to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the entire bidding process on online freelancing platforms, particularly Upwork, Fiverr, LinkedIn, and others. This is a key role requiring exceptional communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with clients, generate leads, and ensure the successful closure of deals. Responsibilities
- Proposal Writing & Customization: Craft personalized proposals for each project, adapting to the specific needs and requirements of the client.
- Online Bidding: Actively bid on relevant projects via freelancing platforms, collaborate with global clients, and secure business contracts from start to finish.
- Project Management: Prepare project estimates, quotes, proposals, and engage with clients until the project is completed successfully.
- Client Requirements Gathering: Interact with clients to gather detailed project requirements, ensuring clear communication with the internal team for project execution.
- Communication & Negotiation: Conduct meetings via phone, Zoom, or Skype, depending on client needs, and negotiate project terms effectively.
- Platform Management: Maintain high ratings and positive feedback across all platforms through excellent client communication and service.
- Relationship Building: Develop and maintain long-term, healthy relationships with clients, ensuring their continued satisfaction.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with management and the designated team leader to meet monthly targets and project requirements.
- Sales Monitoring: Track key metrics and sales procedures to meet or exceed objectives and generate consistent revenue.
- Record Maintenance: Keep detailed records of client interactions, sales, and ongoing communications.
- Strategy & Execution: Contribute to the development of bidding strategies, and execute them efficiently to achieve consistent results.
Qualifications
- Experience:
- Over 3 years of hands-on experience in freelancing and project acquisition, specifically on platforms like Upwork, Fiverr, etc.
- Proven experience in client interaction in key international markets, especially the UK and US.
- Previous experience in a Digital Marketing setup is highly desirable but not mandatory.
- Skills:
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to negotiate effectively.
- High proficiency in written and verbal English.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team.
- Familiarity with CRM tools is a plus.
- Adaptability to working with clients from various industries.
- Must be results-driven and dynamic in achieving set monthly targets.
