Retro VGames is seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Manager to oversee and optimize the supply chain processes for our global e-commerce operations. This key role will focus on procurement, shipping logistics, warehouse management, and supply chain coordination across various countries including Japan, China, the USA, and beyond. The ideal candidate will possess expert-level knowledge in international procurement, logistics, and warehouse operations, especially within the ecommerce B2C industry.

Key Responsibilities
- Procurement Management: Source high-quality products globally (primarily from Japan, China, and the USA), negotiate with suppliers, and establish reliable, long-term partnerships.
- Product Sourcing & Market Research: Identify and track trending and high-demand products; analyze market gaps to ensure a competitive and profitable product range.
- Logistics & Shipping Operations: Oversee seamless product transportation across global markets, managing shipping routes, delivery schedules, and working closely with freight forwarders and carriers.
- Warehouse Management: Monitor inventory levels and ensure efficient storage, order fulfillment, and inventory control. Oversee warehouse operations in key locations such as the USA and Japan.
- Customs & Compliance: Ensure timely customs clearance of imported goods and compliance with international trade regulations.
- Inventory Control: Implement procedures to avoid stockouts and over-stocking while maintaining an optimal supply chain flow.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor procurement, logistics, and warehouse teams to ensure smooth operations and drive results.
- Performance Metrics: Monitor key performance indicators such as lead times, costs, and inventory turnover. Provide detailed reports for continuous operational improvement.
Qualifications
- Fluency in American Accent: Due to the international nature of this role, fluency in spoken English with an American accent is required.
- Experience: Proven experience in supply chain management or procurement within the e-commerce B2C industry, particularly involving international logistics and warehousing.
- Skills:
- Strong understanding of global shipping operations, customs regulations, and international procurement processes.
- In-depth knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory control systems, and e-commerce platform integrations.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Expertise in managing global supply chains and familiarity with shipping and freight forwarding.
- Educational Background: A bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field is preferred.
- Leadership Skills: Experience in leading cross-functional teams and coordinating multiple global locations.
