OneByte is seeking a skilled Automation Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will develop and maintain automation scripts to enhance operational efficiency, scalability, and accuracy. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Python, SQL, and AWS, along with a passion for innovation and problem-solving. This position offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate with implementation and support teams, contributing to process optimization and automation solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and Maintain Automation Scripts: Create and deploy automation scripts and bots to automate manual processes, improving workflow efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
- Collaborate with Implementation Teams: Work closely with teams to identify automation opportunities, gather requirements, and develop user-friendly automation solutions.
- Data Querying and Reporting: Use SQL for querying databases to support automation workflows, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
- Integrate with AWS: Design and maintain automation solutions that integrate seamlessly into our AWS environment.
- Continuous Improvement: Monitor automated processes to ensure smooth performance, making improvements and adapting solutions as requirements evolve.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Core Skill – Python (2+ years): Proficiency in Python for scripting and automation tasks. Experience with task automation and bot creation is essential.
- SQL Knowledge: Competency in SQL for querying databases as part of automation workflows.
- AWS Experience: Familiarity with AWS services and experience in deploying scripts within a cloud-based environment.
- Automation Tools: Experience with automation frameworks like Selenium, Airflow, or similar is a plus.
- Problem-Solving & Innovation: Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify automation opportunities and create innovative solutions.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Certifications: AWS certification is a bonus but not required.
