We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled GMB Optimization Expert to join our team. If you have a passion for local SEO, understand the nuances of optimizing Google My Business (GMB) listings, and can drive significant traffic and leads, we want you to be part of our team. In this role, you will directly manage GMB profiles, implement best practices for local SEO, and provide valuable insights to enhance client performance.
Responsibilities
- GMB Listing Optimization:
- Manage and optimize GMB listings for multiple clients, ensuring they follow best practices for local SEO and achieve maximum visibility.
- Perform regular audits of client profiles, identify areas of improvement, and implement strategies to enhance listing performance.
- Ensure NAP consistency across all client profiles and ensure the accuracy of business information.
- Customer Interaction & Feedback Management:
- Monitor, respond, and engage with GMB reviews, questions, and customer feedback.
- Optimize GMB posts, services, attributes, and Q&A sections to improve customer engagement and brand presence.
- Performance Tracking & Reporting:
- Track and analyze key performance metrics such as clicks, calls, and map views to evaluate GMB effectiveness.
- Regularly update clients with reports on GMB performance, highlighting successes and areas for improvement.
- Competitor Analysis & Trend Monitoring:
- Conduct detailed competitor analysis to understand and implement improvements to client listings.
- Stay informed about the latest GMB updates, local SEO trends, and any Google algorithm changes affecting GMB profiles.
- Strategy Implementation:
- Implement strategies to improve GMB visibility and business ranking on local searches.
Qualifications
- Required Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in GMB optimization and local SEO.
- Strong knowledge of GMB features, guidelines, and best practices for optimizing listings.
- Proficient in SEO tools such as Google Analytics, SEMrush, Moz, and others.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess GMB performance and implement optimization strategies.
- Exceptional communication skills for client interaction and clear report writing.
- Preferred Experience & Education:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, SEO, or Digital Marketing.
- SEO or Digital Marketing Certification is highly desirable.
- 1-2 years of experience in reputation management and review strategy implementation is a plus.
