Stewart Pakistan is looking for a skilled and experienced Lead Angular Developer to join our development team. As a Lead Developer, you will play a pivotal role in designing and developing high-performance, scalable web applications, while mentoring and leading a team of front-end developers. Your expertise in Angular and proven leadership skills will ensure the timely delivery of complex technical projects, driving both strategy and execution across cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Leading a team of front-end developers in designing, developing, and deploying Angular-based web applications.
- Defining the technical strategy and architecture for Angular projects, ensuring that the system is scalable, maintainable, and high-performing.
- Mentoring and guiding team members, providing support on best practices, conducting code reviews, and offering technical solutions.
- Collaborating with product managers, back-end developers, and DevOps teams to implement integrated solutions.
- Ensuring front-end applications are responsive, fast, and compatible across multiple browsers and devices.
- Troubleshooting complex technical issues and leading efforts to optimize performance.
- Staying updated with the latest Angular features, front-end technologies, and best practices to integrate into the development process.
- Ensuring the maintenance of code quality through automated testing, unit tests, and integration tests, along with setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- Participating in Agile processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Contributing to the long-term vision for the front-end architecture and aligning with the broader technical strategy.
- Fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the development team.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- 10 to 15 years of experience in software development, with at least 8 years working with Angular (preferably Angular 2+).
- 5+ years of experience in a technical leadership role, including leading front-end teams and making architectural decisions.
- Proven expertise in Angular architecture, component-based development, and state management (e.g., NgRx, RxJS).
- Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Experience with RESTful API integration, asynchronous programming, and managing data flow using Observables.
- Strong knowledge of best practices for building scalable, maintainable front-end applications.
- Familiarity with UI frameworks like Angular Material, Bootstrap, or similar.
- Experience working with version control tools (e.g., Git) and setting up CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong understanding of responsive design principles for cross-device and cross-browser compatibility.
- Proven experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and delivering iterative projects.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to strategize solutions to technical challenges.
- Excellent communication skills to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Nice to Have
- Experience with back-end technologies (e.g., Node.js, Java, or .NET).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and containerization tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with testing frameworks such as Jasmine, Karma, or Protractor.
- Knowledge of microservices architectures and working in cloud-native environments.
- Contributions to open-source projects or a personal development portfolio.
