We are seeking a highly motivated Marketing Information Associate to join our Commercial Planning team in Lahore. The successful candidate will play a critical role in providing insightful analyses and reports to support data-driven decision-making. You will collaborate with different stakeholders to offer strategic market intelligence, providing valuable insights into market performance, consumer behavior, and competitor activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Analysis and Insights:
- Provide data-driven insights to understand market sales performance, consumer behavior, perceptions, and needs.
- Track and analyze commercial performance, supporting decision-making by identifying key opportunities and risks.
- Market Performance Monitoring:
- Monitor and share insights regarding market performance, ensuring key trends and challenges are addressed.
- Deliver forward-looking consumer, customer, and competitor insights to identify opportunities and threats.
- Competitor Analysis:
- Develop and maintain comprehensive competitive landscape analysis.
- Assess and evaluate BAT’s performance in comparison to competitor activities to support strategic decisions.
- Reporting & Performance Reviews:
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting as per BAT’s guidelines.
- Support the team in preparing share and volume projections to contribute to actionable market and strategy insights.
- Support in Industry Trends:
- Assist in industry analysis, identifying trends that can impact the business, and projecting future market scenarios.
What We’re Looking For
- Educational Qualifications:
- A Degree in Statistics, Data Science, Business Analytics, Marketing, or a related field.
- Work Experience:
- Ideally, 1-2 years of relevant work experience in data analysis or a related marketing field.
- Previous marketing experience is a plus, although fresh graduates with relevant knowledge are also encouraged to apply.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with strong skills in data analysis, modeling, and forecasting.
- Experience with Power BI for reporting and business intelligence tools is highly desirable.
- Other Qualifications:
- Strong analytical thinking with a creative problem-solving approach.
- Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Fluent in English (both written and verbal).
