We are seeking a Strategic Senior Financial Analyst to join our dynamic team. This is a remote role with a focus on driving critical financial insights and strategy in our high-growth, fast-paced environment. Responsibilities
- Manage Financial Operations: Oversee and classify transactions, post journal entries, and own the month-end close process, ensuring accuracy and precision.
- Strategic Financial Analysis: Perform in-depth financial analysis, including forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis to guide key business decisions.
- Communicate Insights: Prepare and present financial reports that transform complex data into actionable insights for senior management and key stakeholders.
- Collaboration Across Teams: Work closely with various departments to gather information, align financial goals, and refine financial plans to support business growth.
- Optimize Cash Flow: Handle treasury tasks like payments and monitor account balances, ensuring the efficient and effective use of funds.
- Support Strategic Investments: Analyze potential investments and acquisitions by building financial models and projections to evaluate their feasibility and impact.
- Drive Continuous Improvement: Identify areas to streamline and improve financial processes, ensuring efficiency in all operations.
Qualifications
- Critical Thinking: Strong ability to analyze complex financial problems, break them down, and implement actionable solutions.
- Self-Starter: Ability to take initiative and excel in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional precision and focus on the accuracy of financial reporting and analysis.
- Communication Skills: Ability to clearly articulate financial data to both finance and non-finance stakeholders, presenting complex data in an understandable way.
- Proficiency: Solid experience with Microsoft Excel and familiarity with e-commerce platforms such as Amazon, Shopify, and Meta.
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in a senior financial analyst, associate, or similar role in finance, accounting, consulting, or e-commerce.
- Certifications: A CPA or similar designation (or actively pursuing one) is preferred.
- Availability: Ability to work remotely with hours from 10 AM to 6 PM PST.
