NanoByte Technologies is looking for an experienced Upwork Bidder to join our team on-site in Lahore. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background along with excellent communication skills to effectively bid on projects, especially in the areas of web development and mobile app development. As an Upwork Bidder, you will be responsible for crafting compelling proposals, managing client communications, and contributing to the growth of the business by acquiring high-value projects on Upwork and similar freelancing platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Bid Creation & Optimization: Develop and optimize proposals for potential projects on Upwork and similar platforms by crafting compelling bids tailored to client requirements.
- Project Research & Targeting: Conduct thorough research on Upwork and other platforms to identify high-potential projects, aligning your bids with client expectations and needs.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the internal team to understand the company’s service offerings and integrate that into proposals and bids, ensuring they meet client specifications.
- Client Communication: Maintain consistent and proactive communication with clients throughout the bidding process, answering inquiries and building relationships to establish trust.
- Bid Management: Handle the end-to-end process of bidding, from project identification to proposal submission, and follow up diligently to ensure effective communication and project acquisition.
- Revenue Growth: Achieve revenue goals by successfully acquiring projects through competitive bidding processes.
- Business Development: Develop strategies for B2B business development, including identifying leads through channels like LinkedIn, email marketing, and other digital outreach tools.
- Proposal Writing: Demonstrate expertise in proposal writing, emphasizing clarity, quality, and relevance to ensure successful client acquisition.
- Technical Expertise: Utilize your knowledge of web and mobile app development stacks, particularly MERN/MEAN stacks and Microsoft technologies (e.g., .NET, C#) to tailor bids to technical project requirements.
Qualifications:
- Experience: At least 1+ year of experience in Upwork bidding with proven success in acquiring projects, particularly in IT and software development domains.
- Technical Skills: Solid understanding of web development stacks, particularly MERN/MEAN, as well as mobile app development. Familiarity with Microsoft technologies like .NET and C# is highly desirable.
- Communication & Negotiation: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively negotiate with clients and maintain professional relationships.
- Lead Generation Tools: Basic knowledge of lead-generation strategies using LinkedIn, email marketing, and other digital tools to attract new clients.
- Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Previous IT Experience: Prior experience in the IT sector is a significant plus, with a good understanding of industry solutions and business models.
- Proposal Writing: Demonstrated experience in writing clear, convincing, and tailored proposals for potential clients, with attention to detail and client-specific requirements.
