Responsibilities
- Develop and Customize WordPress themes and plugins based on specific client needs and requirements.
- Collaborate with the design and development teams to create responsive, user-friendly websites using front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Optimize websites for performance, SEO, and security to ensure top-tier user experiences.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to WordPress websites, themes, and plugins.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and the latest best practices in WordPress development to ensure we remain at the forefront of the field.
- Provide regular maintenance and updates to existing WordPress websites.
- Test and debug websites to ensure functionality across multiple browsers and devices.
- Write clean, well-documented code for seamless collaboration and future scalability.
- Actively contribute to team meetings, helping to improve project workflows and development practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience as a WordPress Developer with a portfolio of WordPress websites you have developed or contributed to.
- Proficiency in front-end development with strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Extensive experience working with WordPress CMS, including theme and plugin development.
- Familiarity with page builders such as Elementor and WPBakery, as well as WordPress frameworks.
- Strong understanding of web performance optimization, SEO best practices, and security measures.
- Experience with responsive design and mobile-first development.
- Knowledge of version control (Git) and experience working in collaborative development workflows.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team with excellent communication skills.
Preferred Skills (Optional)
- Experience with WooCommerce for building e-commerce websites.
- Familiarity with integrating REST APIs and third-party services into WordPress sites.
- Experience with hosting environments such as cPanel, AWS, or Google Cloud.
- Proficiency in using website analytics tools like Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager.
- Understanding of UI/UX principles for improving website user interfaces and experiences.
