ARMUP is seeking a creative and highly skilled Social Media Strategist/Lead – Web3 Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role focuses on building, managing, and executing innovative social media strategies for the Web3 ecosystem. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of blockchain technology, decentralized finance (DeFi), NFTs, and the broader Web3 space. You will be responsible for engaging with a growing community, elevating the brand’s online presence, and helping to drive the adoption of decentralized technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning & Execution: Develop and implement tailored social media strategies focused on Web3 platforms like Twitter, Discord, Telegram, Reddit, and LinkedIn. Align social media initiatives with the overall marketing goals and product roadmap.
- Content Creation & Management: Oversee the creation of engaging content (posts, graphics, videos, live events) that resonates with the Web3 audience. Stay up-to-date on emerging trends in blockchain, DeFi, and NFTs to keep content fresh and relevant.
- Community Engagement: Foster a strong, loyal Web3 community by actively engaging with followers across platforms. Address questions, comments, and feedback in a timely and professional manner.
- Analytics & Reporting: Monitor and analyze social media metrics to measure campaign success. Provide performance reports and actionable insights for campaign adjustments.
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, product, and content teams to ensure that messaging and branding are cohesive across all channels.
- Partnerships & Collaborations: Collaborate with Web3 influencers, thought leaders, and projects to expand our reach and enhance brand visibility.
- Crisis Management: Proactively manage social media crises, addressing any negative sentiment and maintaining the integrity of the brand’s online presence.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in social media management, with at least 3 years in the Web3 or blockchain space. Proven success in managing and growing social media platforms in blockchain or decentralized environments.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of blockchain technology, cryptocurrencies, NFTs, DAOs, DeFi, and the Web3 ecosystem.
- Skills:
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, capable of simplifying complex Web3 concepts for a wide audience.
- Creative thinker with expertise in storytelling and brand building.
- Strong analytical and data-driven approach to evaluate social media campaigns.
- Proficient in creating multimedia content, such as graphics and videos.
- Experience with social media management tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Twitter Analytics, Hootsuite).
- Personal Traits:
- Proactive, self-motivated, and adaptable to the fast-evolving Web3 space.
- Strong interpersonal skills and collaborative attitude within cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience managing communities on platforms like Discord and Telegram.
- Background in influencer marketing or managing partnerships in the blockchain space.
- Certification in social media marketing, digital marketing, or related fields.
