Key Responsibilities

  1. Patient Interaction:
    • Welcome and assist patients via phone calls, emails, and online platforms.
    • Provide outstanding customer service, addressing patient inquiries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  2. Appointment Scheduling:
    • Efficiently manage patient appointments, including booking, rescheduling, and confirming visits.
    • Ensure optimal use of the healthcare provider’s schedule.
  3. Patient Records Management:
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including demographic information, medical histories, and insurance details.
    • Adhere strictly to confidentiality and HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy.
  4. Insurance Verification:
    • Perform insurance verification and obtain necessary pre-authorizations.
    • Effectively communicate coverage and financial responsibilities to patients.
  5. Administrative Support:
    • Provide essential administrative support, including data entry, filing, and managing correspondence.
    • Ensure the efficient operation of the medical practice through these tasks.
  6. Communication:
    • Act as a liaison between patients and healthcare providers.
    • Ensure timely follow-ups on patient needs and concerns.
  7. Problem Resolution:
    • Address and resolve patient issues promptly and professionally.
    • Escalate matters to management as needed.
