As a Patient & Medical Camp Coordinator, you’ll be responsible for coordinating medical camps, managing patient data, and ensuring the smooth operation of our services in Punjab and KPK regions. You will work directly with patients and healthcare providers to make sure that care is delivered efficiently and that all processes run smoothly. This is a full-time, on-site role in Lahore.
Key Responsibilities
- Patient Selection and Guidance:
- Follow Transparent Hands’ Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) to select and reject patients for treatment.
- Provide support and guidance to patients’ families about their health conditions and treatment plans.
- Organize and maintain patient files in the system, ensuring proper documentation.
- Medical Camp Coordination:
- Plan and manage free medical camps in the Punjab and KPK regions, ensuring all activities are well-supervised.
- Ensure that medical camps are executed efficiently, following established SOPs.
- Coordinate with doctors and healthcare staff to ensure the camps meet patient needs effectively.
- Patient Data and Record Keeping:
- Collect and maintain accurate patient data, including photographs and medical records.
- Upload patient information to the records management system promptly.
- Review hospital files and ensure the timely preparation of patient forms.
- Medical and Surgical Procedure Management:
- Prepare estimates for medical/surgical procedures based on hospital contracts.
- Discuss estimates with doctors and seek approval from management before submitting patient forms.
- Monitoring Patient Treatment and Feedback:
- Oversee the successful treatment of patients during their hospital stay.
- Report any discrepancies or issues regarding patient care to management immediately.
- Gather post-treatment feedback from patients and escalate any concerns to the management team.
- Medicine Stock Management:
- Track and manage medicine stock for medical camps.
- Prepare purchase orders and ensure that procurement is timely and within the camp’s needs.
- Coordination with Patients and Staff:
- Handle incoming calls, messages, and inquiries from patients.
- Schedule appointments with doctors and provide timely responses to patient queries.
- Administrative Support:
- Prepare payment requests and assist with administrative tasks related to hospital services.
- Collaborate with healthcare administrators to ensure smooth coordination of activities.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following qualifications:
- Educational Requirements:
- MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery) degree is required.
- Skills and Experience:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to ensure smooth operations during medical camps.
- Proven ability to work with medical staff, patients, and healthcare administrators to meet goals.
- Experience in patient care or customer service is highly advantageous.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel or similar software for data entry and analysis.
- Supervisory Experience:
- Ability to supervise and manage the operations of free medical camps in both Punjab and KPK regions.
- Analytical Skills:
- Strong skills in data analysis and the ability to derive meaningful conclusions for operational improvements.
