We are currently hiring a Research Associate (Planning Workstream) for the Sub-national Governance Programme II (SNG-II) in Pakistan. 2. Key Responsibilities
As a Research Associate, you will play a crucial role in supporting governance reforms by assisting with policy research, stakeholder engagement, and data analysis. Your responsibilities will include:
Research & Data Analysis
- Conduct literature reviews on governance, public administration, and policy-related topics.
- Analyze policy papers, legislation, and relevant government documents to identify trends and insights.
- Collect and process qualitative and quantitative data to support policy recommendations.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain an organized database of program documents, meeting notes, and research materials.
- Assist in drafting research reports, briefing notes, and policy recommendations.
- Prepare comprehensive minutes and actionable summaries of meetings and workshops.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Participate in meetings, discussions, and workshops with government officials, policymakers, and development organizations.
- Provide support in policy dialogues, ensuring smooth coordination between stakeholders.
Project Support
- Assist in monitoring and evaluating program activities related to sub-national governance.
- Support the development of planning and budgeting frameworks that improve government efficiency.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the Work Stream Lead or District Team Lead.
