The Field Software Sales Agent plays a key role in connecting our innovative software solutions with potential clients. Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct Sales Visits: Engage with potential customers in the field, demonstrating software products and understanding their needs.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build, maintain, and strengthen relationships with existing and prospective clients.
  • Needs Assessment: Assess the needs of customers to recommend appropriate software solutions, ensuring relevance and value.
  • Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement effective sales strategies aimed at achieving sales targets and expanding market share.
  • Sales Presentations & Proposals: Prepare and deliver engaging presentations, proposals, and quotations to customers.
  • Market Research: Perform market research to identify new trends, opportunities, and potential customer segments.
  • Sales Pipeline Management: Track leads, manage sales pipelines, and ensure follow-ups to convert prospects into customers.
  • Negotiation & Contract Closing: Negotiate contracts and work to close deals effectively and professionally.
  • Customer Support: Provide post-sale support, helping customers with software implementation, training, and troubleshooting.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Coordinate with marketing, sales, and product teams to enhance lead generation and customer satisfaction.
  • Networking & Representation: Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and networking events, promoting software solutions.
  • Product Knowledge & Innovation: Stay informed about product updates, innovations in the software market, and industry changes.

Required Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related fields.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of field sales experience, ideally in the software industry.
  • Sales Track Record: Proven history of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
  • Software Knowledge: Strong understanding of software products and solutions.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • CRM Proficiency: Experienced in using CRM software (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.) and sales tools to track customer interactions and manage the sales pipeline.
  • Travel Flexibility: Ability to travel frequently within the designated territory to meet with clients.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to understand customer pain points and offer solutions.
  • Negotiation Skills: Proven negotiation skills with a focus on closing sales.
  • Digital Marketing Knowledge (plus): Familiarity with digital marketing techniques to support lead generation.
