Sales and Application Engineer

OTC is seeking a Sales and Application Engineer to join our team in Lahore and Karachi. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to OTC’s growth by supporting our customers with the selection and application of instrumentation and related products. As a key member of our team, you will assist customers by providing technical assistance, product recommendations, and quotations while ensuring strong customer relationships. Key Responsibilities

For Lahore (Experience: 1-2 years)

  • Technical Support & Recommendations: Assist customers in selecting the right instrumentation and related products based on their specific technical requirements.
  • Customer Engagement: Provide timely quotations, technical proposals, and follow up on inquiries to ensure customer satisfaction and business growth.
  • Collaboration with Sales Team: Work closely with the sales team to provide the necessary technical support and insights needed to close deals effectively.
  • Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong and long-lasting customer relationships to build loyalty and encourage repeat business.
  • Market Awareness: Stay updated on industry trends, product offerings, and competitive landscape to anticipate market needs and support sales strategies.

For Karachi (Experience: 3-4 years or more)

  • Lead Generation: Attend company-provided leads and scheduled meetings to identify and generate new business opportunities.
  • Product & Application Assistance: Help customers select the appropriate products based on their project needs and technical specifications.
  • Proposal Preparation: Offer quotations and technical proposals, addressing all client concerns and ensuring clarity on products and pricing.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Establish and maintain robust and trustworthy client relationships to foster long-term partnerships.
  • Industry Insights: Keep up-to-date with industry changes, product innovations, and competitor offerings to deliver the best solutions to customers.

Qualifications

For Lahore

  • Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field (Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, or similar).
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in sales and application engineering, ideally in the field of instrumentation or similar technical products.
  • Skills:
    • Strong communication and presentation skills.
    • Technical expertise to understand and recommend instrumentation products.
    • Ability to work independently and as a part of a collaborative team.
    • Proficiency with customer relationship management tools.

For Karachi

  • Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
  • Experience: 3-4 years of experience in sales and application engineering, with proven expertise in handling instrumentation products.
  • Skills:
    • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
    • Strong technical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
    • Ability to manage client relationships effectively.
    • Self-starter with the ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
