As a Cyber Security Specialist at Pukat Digital Pvt Limited, your core focus will be on safeguarding the organization’s digital infrastructure, preventing data breaches, and protecting our client’s confidential information. You will work to identify and address potential vulnerabilities, lead the development and implementation of robust security protocols, and stay ahead of emerging cybersecurity threats. Key Responsibilities

1. Risk Assessment and Threat Management:

Monitor the digital infrastructure for vulnerabilities, potential threats, and cyber incidents.
Perform regular penetration testing to simulate cyberattacks and identify weaknesses.
Develop and implement effective strategies to mitigate and address identified risks.

2. Security Infrastructure:

Design, implement, and manage advanced security solutions such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and anti-malware tools.
Ensure the protection of endpoints and systems through regular security patches, updates, and proactive risk management.

3. Incident Response:

Lead investigations into security incidents, breaches, or anomalies.
Document incidents and generate reports with specific recommendations to prevent future attacks.

4. Policy Development and Compliance:

Create, update, and enforce comprehensive cybersecurity policies and standards.
Ensure that security measures comply with global regulations, including GDPR, HIPAA, and ISO 27001.

5. Training and Awareness:

Conduct training and awareness sessions for employees to educate them on cybersecurity risks and best practices.
Foster a culture of proactive cybersecurity mindfulness across the organization.

6. Collaboration and Communication:

Work in collaboration with IT teams to ensure security strategies align with organizational and business goals.
Communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders about the importance of cybersecurity risks, policies, and procedures.

Qualifications and Skills

Required Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related fields. Equivalent work experience will also be considered.

Certifications (Preferred):

CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional)
CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker)
CISM (Certified Information Security Manager)
CompTIA Security+

Technical Skills:

Proficiency with cybersecurity tools and technologies, such as SIEM (Security Information and Event Management), IDS/IPS, EDR (Endpoint Detection and Response), and others.
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms’ security, including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Strong knowledge of network security protocols, encryption technologies, and authentication systems.
Familiarity with programming/scripting languages like Python and PowerShell.

Experience:

At least 2+ years of experience in cybersecurity roles, preferably with experience in a senior or specialist position.
Hands-on expertise in identifying and managing network and cloud infrastructure security.

Soft Skills:

Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Strong communication skills for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to work well in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and continuously stay updated with emerging cybersecurity trends.
