Plant Protection Product Registration (APAC Region) – CAC

CAC is looking for a Plant Protection Product Registration Specialist to join our team and drive the registration and approval process for plant protection products in the APAC region. In this role, you will ensure compliance with local regulations and manage multi-country registration processes efficiently. If you have experience in regulatory affairs and a passion for the plant protection or agrochemical industry, this opportunity is for you.


Key Responsibilities

1. Market Research and Analysis:

  • Conduct thorough market research to understand the registration requirements for plant protection products in target overseas markets.
  • Keep track of and analyze any changes in local regulatory policies, adjusting registration strategies accordingly to ensure product compliance.

2. Product Registration and Filing:

  • Lead the registration and approval process for plant protection products, ensuring all required documentation is submitted, accurate, and complies with local regulations.
  • Communicate and collaborate with regulatory agencies in various countries to facilitate product approvals.

3. Cross-department Collaboration:

  • Work closely with R&D, production, and quality control teams to ensure that products meet the technical and quality standards necessary for registration in international markets.
  • Collaborate with external partners and agents to expedite the product approval process.

4. Documentation Management:

  • Prepare, review, and maintain compliant documentation related to product registration in overseas markets.
  • Address technical inquiries and regulatory requirements from international markets concerning the products.

5. Market Feedback and Support:

  • Regularly report the progress of product registrations and provide market insights to management.
  • Provide necessary technical support to help overseas clients resolve any product-related issues.

Qualifications & Skills

Educational Background:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Plant Protection, Agricultural Science, Chemistry, Life Sciences, or a related field.

Work Experience:

  • At least 5 years of experience in regulatory affairs, product registration, or international market access, preferably in the plant protection or agrochemical sector.
  • Familiarity with global plant protection product registration processes and regulatory standards is preferred.

Language Skills:

  • Fluency in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to independently draft reports and regulatory documents.

Technical Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of the registration process and regulatory requirements for plant protection products in key global markets, especially within the APAC region.
  • Proven project management skills, with the ability to handle multi-country registration processes effectively.

Other Requirements:

  • Detail-oriented and capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong teamwork and cross-cultural communication skills.
