Responsibilities
- Payroll Processing: Manage payroll for over 200 employees using iSolved, transitioning from biweekly to weekly payroll.
- Benefits Administration: Assist with entering payroll deductions for benefits and maintaining accurate records.
- Journal Entries: Process royalty payments and enter payroll journal entries into the general ledger.
- Month-End Closing: Review financial statements, disbursements, and prepare reports for the month-end closing process.
- Accounts Payable Management: Oversee accounts payable and manage expense reports for company employees.
- Financial Transactions: Record and reconcile all financial transactions, including debits and credits.
- Bank Account Reconciliation: Reconcile over five bank accounts, as well as manage credit card and Visa activities.
- Customer Payments: Apply customer payments, issue credits or refunds, and follow up with delinquent accounts.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare customized financial reports for clients and assist with special projects when required.
- Financial Analysis: Perform analysis on budgets versus actuals, prior year comparisons, and trends to provide insights into business performance.
- Compliance and Cost Control: Assist with cost control measures and ensure all financial operations are compliant with internal processes.
Qualifications
- Education: College-educated (accounting-related courses are preferred).
- Experience: At least 2 years of bookkeeping and payroll experience.
- Software Proficiency: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (V-Lookup, pivot tables) and QuickBooks (Online and Desktop). Experience with ADP payroll software is a plus.
- Technology Requirements: Comfortable using Hubstaff time tracking software. A computer with a minimum of Intel Core i5 processor, 8GB RAM, and a 25Mbps internet connection is required.
- Communication: Professional-level English skills (both written and verbal/voice).
- Clearance: Candidates must provide either NBI Clearance or Police Clearance (preferred but not required).
- Additional Skills: Experience with payroll software or CRM tools is a plus.
- Equipment: Must have a noise-canceling headset, 720p HD webcam, backup laptop, and a backup internet connection device for emergencies.
