Responsibilities

  • Data Analysis:
    • Analyze structured and unstructured data to uncover patterns, trends, and insights that inform business decisions.
    • Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to understand the data distributions and relationships, identifying potential trends and outliers.
  • Predictive Modeling:
    • Build, train, and evaluate predictive and prescriptive models using various machine learning algorithms.
    • Conduct model optimization through hyperparameter tuning, feature engineering, and performance metrics.
  • Data Pipeline:
    • Ensure the quality and integrity of the data throughout the analysis pipeline to maintain reliable and valid results.
  • Model Deployment:
    • Deploy machine learning models into production environments, and monitor their performance and ongoing improvements over time.
  • Business Collaboration:
    • Collaborate closely with the product and business teams to understand objectives and translate them into actionable data solutions.
    • Provide clear, concise recommendations to business stakeholders based on your analysis.
  • Experimentation:
    • Design and conduct experiments, such as A/B testing, to assess the impact of various business strategies and product features.
  • Reporting & Presentation:
    • Present technical findings to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and understandable manner, driving decision-making with your insights.
  • Cross-functional Liaison:
    • Work with designated teams to identify key deliverables and optimize business processes.
  • Commercial Awareness:
    • Apply your understanding of complex data and business strategies to provide practical, data-driven recommendations.

Qualifications

  • Experience:
    • 3+ years of experience in data science, machine learning, or related fields, with hands-on experience working with structured and unstructured data.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficient in programming languages like Python or R.
    • Strong knowledge of machine learning algorithms, techniques, and statistical modeling.
    • Experience with large language models (LLM) and LangChain.
    • Familiar with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, Snowflake, Hadoop, or Azure.
    • Understanding of containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
    • Basic familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
  • Statistical Knowledge:
    • Knowledge of hypothesis testing, regression, probability distributions, and other advanced statistical techniques.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
    • Strong interpersonal skills, able to communicate complex data concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
    • Analytical thinking, with the ability to interpret complex datasets and transform them into actionable insights.
  • Additional Preferences:
    • Familiarity with big data technologies.
    • Previous experience in the mobility or ride-hailing industry is a plus (discuss during the interview).
