Responsibilities
As the Department Manager-Hardline, you will play a pivotal role in driving department success. Your duties include:
- Supervising daily operations and ensuring smooth functionality of designated sections.
- Strategizing and implementing initiatives to increase sales and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Conducting regular training for staff to maintain high service standards.
- Onboarding and training new hires on company standards and procedures, including managing customer interactions.
- Ensuring visual merchandising aligns with the company’s requirements for an engaging customer experience.
- Leading and mentoring team members, promoting teamwork and productivity.
- Maintaining inventory accuracy and managing stock to meet department goals.
Qualifications
- Education: Minimum graduation (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
- Experience: 3–4 years of experience in a reputable retail brand, preferably as a Floor Manager or in a similar capacity.
- Experience with hardline products such as toys, infant accessories, stationery, or jewelry is a plus.
