As a Penetration Tester at micro1, you’ll leverage your expertise in ethical hacking to test and secure systems, particularly with a focus on artificial intelligence implementations. You’ll be tasked with identifying and addressing security vulnerabilities while ensuring robust protection for our partners. Your work will be instrumental in shaping security protocols and offering in-depth insights into vulnerabilities and mitigation solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Penetration Testing: Conduct comprehensive penetration tests across various applications and systems to identify security flaws.
- AI Security: Craft prompts to explore AI models and identify both expected and anomalous results, including testing AI security protocols.
- Security Vulnerability Assessments: Use specialized tools to identify vulnerabilities and recommend actionable remediation.
- Report Findings: Produce detailed vulnerability assessment reports that clearly explain findings and solutions for remediation.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to improve and implement security measures within an organization’s digital landscape.
- Continuous Learning: Stay updated with emerging threats, new hacking techniques, and advancements in AI security.
- Process Improvement: Help develop security standards and processes to strengthen existing systems.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Experience in Penetration Testing: Proven experience conducting security audits and penetration tests, with a deep understanding of network security and ethical hacking practices.
- Social Engineering Assessment: Ability to evaluate and perform social engineering tests to assess organizational security awareness and vulnerabilities.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong skills using vulnerability assessment tools like Burp Suite, Nessus, or Nmap.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially in writing reports and communicating technical findings clearly.
- Remote Work: Ability to work independently in a remote setting, managing tasks effectively and efficiently.
Preferred Qualifications
- AI Knowledge: Familiarity with AI models and large language models, with an understanding of how they can be vulnerable to security threats.
- Certifications: Certifications such as OSCP (Offensive Security Certified Professional) or CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker) are highly preferred.
- Advanced Security Tools: Experience using security assessment frameworks and tools specific to penetration testing.
