BESTSELLER is a global fashion company based in Denmark, renowned for its wide range of clothing and accessories for women, men, teenagers, and children. With a strong presence in over 70 markets and more than 21,000 employees worldwide, BESTSELLER operates through iconic brands such as JACK & JONES, SELECTED, VERO MODA, ONLY, and more. Our Pakistan office in Lahore is seeking an experienced and proactive Senior Merchandiser to join our dynamic Global Sourcing team.

This role focuses on the development, production, and expansion of business by fostering strong relationships with suppliers and ensuring seamless operations from product development to shipment.

Key Responsibilities

Merchandising and Development

Manage and oversee the entire process from product development to shipment for assigned brands.
Collaborate with suppliers to source new fabrics, trims, and shapes aligned with brand trend strategies.
Ensure suppliers develop updated versions of best-selling styles.
Train and guide suppliers to meet BESTSELLER standards.
Monitor critical path management to ensure timely sampling, SMS, and production.
Develop innovative products to attract new brands and sustainable business opportunities.

Business Development

Build and maintain professional relationships with suppliers, buyers, and designers.
Identify opportunities for business growth and implement initiatives to capitalize on them.
Support existing brands by ensuring competitive pricing and trend-aligned product offerings.

Team Collaboration

Work closely with the Merchandise Manager and cross-functional teams.
Provide proactive solutions to challenges between buyers and suppliers.
Ensure quality inspections and compliance with chemical requirements.

International Collaboration

Regular communication with global offices, especially in Denmark, for smooth operations.
Conduct business trips to suppliers and other offices as needed.

Qualifications

Educational Background

Bachelor’s Degree in Textile Engineering, Business Management, or a related field.

Experience Required

5+ years of relevant experience in the garment industry, preferably with exposure to both brands and manufacturers.

Skills Required

Strong knowledge of Denim products and supply chain processes.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills.
Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
Positive attitude with a proactive and open-minded approach.
Ability to work as part of a diverse team and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
