We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in speech therapy, a patient-centered approach, and a passion for helping individuals improve their communication skills and overall quality of life.
Responsibilities
As a Speech Language Pathologist, your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting initial screenings to evaluate speech, language, voice, and swallowing capabilities.
- Assessing patient conditions and developing personalized therapy and treatment plans.
- Implementing therapeutic exercises and activities to improve articulation, fluency, and other speech-related challenges.
- Monitoring progress and adjusting treatments to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Educating patients, families, and caregivers on strategies to support ongoing speech development.
- Maintaining detailed records of patient evaluations, progress notes, and treatment modifications.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic care.
Qualifications
To be considered for this position, you should meet the following requirements:
- A degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field.
- A valid license or certification to practice as a Speech Language Pathologist.
- Experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorders (preferred).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to design and implement individualized therapy plans.
