StudyWise is seeking an enthusiastic and driven Student Counsellor to join our team. This role involves engaging with potential students to guide and support them through the process of studying abroad. You will play a crucial part in inspiring students to explore global education opportunities while contributing to their academic and professional growth.
Key Responsibilities
As a Student Counsellor, you will:
- Actively reach out to prospective students through cold calls, follow-up calls, and emails to generate interest in study abroad programs.
- Respond to inbound inquiries from students and parents, addressing questions related to education opportunities abroad.
- Engage with students to identify their academic interests and career goals, recommending suitable study destinations and programs.
- Provide detailed and accurate information about universities, courses, scholarships, visa requirements, and application processes.
- Persuade and inspire students by explaining the value and benefits of studying abroad, including professional development, global exposure, and enhanced career prospects.
- Assist students throughout the application journey, from form submission to document preparation and tracking deadlines.
- Answer queries on documentation, program specifications, and other related details.
- Work towards achieving conversion targets, ensuring that students commit to the enrollment process.
- Stay informed about the latest trends in the education industry, including visa updates and new program offerings.
- Collect feedback from students to improve counselling strategies and program offerings.
Qualifications
Required Skills & Experience:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in any relevant field.
- Experience:
- Prior experience in student counselling, sales, or working in an educational consultancy is preferred.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication abilities, with proficiency in building rapport with students and parents.
- Persuasive Skills: Proven ability to influence and encourage students to take action.
