Team Head – Training & Development

People (Professional Employers Pvt Ltd) is looking for an experienced and visionary Team Head of Training & Development to lead our training initiatives across the organization. In this strategic role, you will oversee and drive the training programs aimed at enhancing employee skills, increasing performance, and fostering a learning culture within the company. The ideal candidate should have experience in analyzing training needs, designing impactful programs, and ensuring successful training delivery at all levels.


Key Responsibilities

  • Training Needs Analysis (TNA):
    • Analyze and assess training needs at various organizational levels and align training initiatives with company objectives to maximize employee growth and performance.
  • Training Program Planning & Execution:
    • Prepare and control the annual and monthly training calendars, ensuring that all training programs are executed on schedule.
    • Coordinate and supervise the completion of required training programs for employees.
  • Design & Content Development:
    • Identify and design training materials and documents based on TNA, ensuring high-quality, engaging content.
    • Create and develop new training content (including online modules, video content, etc.) as needed, working in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
    • Leverage tools such as Prezi, Canva, and Articulate Storyline for content creation, with particular emphasis on designing user-friendly and interactive modules.
  • Review & Improve Existing Programs:
    • Review existing training programs, making suggestions and improvements to enhance content relevance, engagement, and the overall impact on employees’ skills.
  • Documentation & Reporting:
    • Maintain training manuals, organize soft copies and hard copies as per standards, and ensure that training video materials are well-archived and accessible.
    • Track training progress and effectiveness, ensuring all training requirements are completed and well-documented.
  • Budget Control:
    • Control and manage the training budget, ensuring cost-efficient planning while maintaining the quality of the programs.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Lead the training team, ensuring effective coordination, collaboration, and continuous development of the team to enhance their performance and capabilities.

Qualifications

  • Educational Background:
    • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources Management (HRM), Marketing, or related fields.
  • Professional Experience:
    • Minimum of 8+ years of experience in Training & Development, ideally within the HR, Insurance, or Banking sectors.
    • Proven experience in managing large-scale training projects, leading teams, and making strategic decisions related to workforce development.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in designing and implementing Training Need Assessments (TNA).
    • Hands-on experience with Prezi, Canva, Articulate Storyline/Rise, and Storyboarding/Scripting (knowledge of English and Urdu).
    • Strong command of using training platforms and tools to create, distribute, and manage learning modules.
  • Additional Skills:
    • Ability to drive employee engagement through well-designed training and development strategies.
    • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail.
    • Exceptional communication and leadership skills, able to interact with all levels of the organization.
