AstrillVPN is looking for a talented Web Content Writer to join our expanding marketing team. This role offers a unique opportunity to collaborate closely with SEO strategists, UX/graphic specialists, and other cross-functional teams to create high-quality, engaging content for our website and blog. You will play a key role in helping AstrillVPN build a strong online presence by writing and optimizing compelling landing pages, articles, blog posts, and social media content. The goal is to drive website traffic, generate sales, and boost search rankings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Content Creation & Optimization:
    Write and optimize content for landing pages (both sales-driven and SEO-focused), ensuring the content is compelling and strategically aligned with SEO goals.
  • Research & Development:
    Research industry-related topics, combining online sources, interviews, and studies to develop comprehensive and engaging content.
  • Collaboration with Teams:
    Work with in-house designers, video producers, SEO specialists, and other departments to ensure the content is visually engaging and optimized for maximum reach.
  • Clear and Accessible Communication:
    Convey complex, technical topics (related to internet security, VPNs, etc.) in a way that is clear, accessible, and appealing to the average consumer.
  • Content Strategy:
    Research, plan, and create blog posts and articles that help position and drive sales for AstrillVPN across global markets.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration:
    Collaborate with other departments like PR, SEO, advertising, bloggers, product managers, and affiliates to ensure consistent messaging across all channels.
  • Editing and Feedback:
    Provide edits and feedback on work written by other team members and freelancers, ensuring quality and consistency.
  • Content Gap Identification:
    Identify customers’ needs and content gaps, and recommend new topics for content development.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience:
    4+ years as a content writer, ideally in the tech or digital space, with a strong understanding of SEO and content strategies.
  • Excellent Communication:
    Strong verbal and written communication skills in English. Ability to present ideas clearly and gain stakeholder approval.
  • Tech Savvy:
    A genuine interest in internet security, privacy, and technology, particularly VPN and internet-related topics.
  • Copywriting Experience:
    Proven experience in copywriting, especially in creating persuasive content that drives conversions.
  • SEO & Marketing Expertise:
    In-depth knowledge of SEO, including techniques for optimizing content for Google, Yahoo, Bing, and similar search engines.
  • Social Media & Marketing Skills (Preferred):
    Experience in growing followers and engagement on social media platforms.
    Experience in email marketing or customer lifecycle communications.
  • Additional Experience (Bonus):
    Previous experience writing about tech topics and a deep understanding of the digital marketing landscape.
