ByteCrew is a fast-growing technology company seeking an experienced DevOps Specialist to join our talented team in Lahore. We are looking for a skilled professional with a strong background in Cloud technologies (Azure, AWS), CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and security best practices to drive our DevOps initiatives. Key Responsibilities:
- Cloud Infrastructure Management:
- Deploy, manage, and monitor cloud-based infrastructures on Azure and AWS.
- Design and maintain scalable and reliable cloud environments using IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS solutions.
- Continuously optimize cloud resources to improve performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Continuous Integration & Continuous Deployment (CI/CD):
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI/CD, or AWS CodePipeline.
- Automate build, test, and deployment processes to ensure smooth, rapid, and error-free software delivery.
- Configuration Management:
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
- Maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates.
- Monitoring & Logging:
- Set up robust monitoring and alerting systems using tools like Prometheus, CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, or Datadog.
- Implement log management solutions (e.g., ELK Stack, Splunk) to proactively identify and resolve issues.
- Security & Compliance:
- Implement security best practices for cloud infrastructure, ensuring security of data and applications.
- Set up firewalls, IAM roles, network security groups, and ensure secure access controls.
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards (ISO 27001, GDPR, SOC 2) through routine audits and monitoring.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Educational Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
- Certifications in AWS, Azure, or DevOps-related certifications are advantageous.
- Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in DevOps, working with cloud platforms (Azure and AWS), CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Proven track record with cloud-based infrastructure management and application deployment in highly scalable environments.
- Technical Skills:
- Cloud Platforms: Proficiency in AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS), and Azure (VMs, Azure Functions, Kubernetes Services).
- DevOps Tools: Experience with Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and CloudFormation.
- Version Control: Proficient with version control systems such as Git, GitHub, and GitLab.
- Monitoring Tools: Expertise in setting up CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Prometheus, ELK Stack.
- Additional Skills:
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
