Key Responsibilities

As a Network Support Engineer at Toyota Gateway Motors, you will be responsible for various technical tasks. Your primary duties will include:

Network Equipment Installation and Maintenance
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls, etc.) and software systems.
- Ensure that all network devices and systems are running efficiently and securely.
Monitoring Network Performance
- Monitor network traffic to ensure optimal performance across all departments.
- Troubleshoot network connectivity and performance issues to minimize downtime and service interruptions.
Troubleshooting and Support
- Provide on-call support for any network issues that arise and resolve them promptly.
- Identify and diagnose issues related to network security and implement solutions to protect the organization from external threats.
System Upgrades and Updates
- Regularly update network systems to ensure the network remains secure and performs at its best.
- Assist in planning and implementing system upgrades and changes to improve network capabilities.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should meet the following qualifications:

Educational Background
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
Work Experience
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience as a Network Support Engineer or in a similar network-related role.
- Proven experience in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting network systems in a professional environment.
Technical Skills
- Strong understanding of network topologies, protocols, and security measures.
- Experience with network management tools and technologies (e.g., LAN/WAN configurations, firewalls, routing protocols).
Additional Qualifications
- Familiarity with troubleshooting network hardware and software issues.
